Is Literacy Arcade an approved Alabama CHOOSE Act provider?
Yes. Literacy Arcade is an approved Education Service Provider for Alabama's CHOOSE Act program.
Do I pay Literacy Arcade first?
No. Families using CHOOSE Act funds should request a Literacy Arcade invoice and submit it through ClassWallet's Pay Vendor option, rather than paying through the regular website checkout and expecting reimbursement.
How do I get an invoice?
Literacy Arcade provides it. Request your invoice and it will include the information needed for your ClassWallet submission.
Where do I submit the invoice?
In ClassWallet: choose Pay Vendor, select Literacy Arcade, upload the invoice, and submit the request.
What happens after I submit it?
Your request goes through ClassWallet's applicable payment and approval process. After your ClassWallet payment request is received by Literacy Arcade, you'll receive an email from hello@literacyarcade.com within 24 hours with directions for activating your Literacy Arcade subscription.
Can I use CHOOSE Act funds for Literacy Arcade physical products?
Literacy Arcade also offers physical literacy products. Please contact Literacy Arcade for current CHOOSE Act purchasing instructions for physical items.
What is the difference between Plus and Plus Family?
Both include the full Literacy Arcade digital platform. Plus Family adds monthly guidance for reading at home through a live group literacy Q&A with a literacy specialist.
Is Literacy Arcade a complete curriculum?
No. It is supplemental — it strengthens a family's core curriculum or intervention program with assessment, targeted instruction, and reading practice.
Do children need accounts?
No. Children can use shared activities without creating Literacy Arcade accounts or providing student email addresses.
Can I purchase directly without using CHOOSE Act funds?
Yes. Families not using CHOOSE Act funds may purchase a direct Literacy Arcade Plus plan on the Plus pricing page.
